Thank you so much for sharing this. I had no idea you were giving at all! I’m a huge advocate of effective giving, sending about 30% of my personal income last year to high impact charities via The Life You Can Save. It’s amazing to hear you have been able to double your impacts thanks to the generosity of your readers. That’s my dream! Finally I love to see the stories showing the impacts and making it all real. A great extension of your good news reporting prowess!

Hi Amy,

I'm following up with Myriad Canada to find out whether it can accept donations to projects selected by FTN.

Hi Amy

I did hear back from Myriad Canada. Possibly I pitched the inquiry the wrong way, as they thought I intended to use Myriad as a way to donate to FTN. I'd like to see if I can set the record straight with Myriad Canada.

Your Mar 16 post, which is the thing that got me looking into whether there was a Myriad in Canada, seems to me to be the way in. Would Myriad be able to see that post? If not, would it be ok for me to copy and paste it into an email and send it along to them?

Cheers,

Rosemary

Hi Rosemary, thanks for checking back in. Although Myriad Canada is part of the Myriad Alliance, we do not have a partnership with them as yet. Although it's a global alliance, we need to form partnerships with each country individually. At the moment, the only way you can donate to our giving is through our Australian and USA portals. You are so welcome to share this post with Myriad Canada :) And we will look into a potential partnership down the track!

This is wonderful news, showing how much difference small projects and small donations make.

By the way, the surgery through a small incision is laparoscopic, not labrascopic.
